On my ventures to purchase rough material, I get the best bargains by buying in large quantities.  As a result, I usually have an ample supply left over of the same type of stones I cut.  The quality of rough ranges from high to low.  The lower quality is perfect for beginner cutters who want to learn and get familiar with cutting a type of stone without having to spend a lot of money.  I also have medium and higher end material.
